These stops, managed by Ada County Parks & Waterways and the City of Boise, ensure comfortable and safe floating experiences for all visitors.

Planning stops enhances safety and enjoyment while providing opportunities for wildlife observation and photography.
Complete Rest Stop Facilities Guide
Navigation Tips: Look for official park signs approximately 100 yards before each stop to plan your approach. River-left (left side when floating downstream) and river-right (right side when floating downstream) designations help identify proper landing areas and avoid stronger current channels.
There are four official stops managed by the Parks &
Recreation Department of Boise along the route between
Barber Park and Ann Morrison Park.
As managed public parks they include typical facilities
including toilets and trash collection.

before each stop so that you can get to the side and get out
